Tournament Format

The tournament will bring together 14 teams for a total of 57 matches under a freshly reworked format. It'll unfold in three stages:

- A Super Series to decide the final qualifying spot

- A group stage

- A Super 7 round feeding into the knockouts

The final will be staged at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg - one of cricket's most iconic grounds, and a fitting setting for the closing spectacle.

- It's the first ODI World Cup to be held in Africa since 2003
