Champions League Shock: The Arctic Upset

European football witnessed a historic upset last night as Bodø/Glimt shocked Manchester City 3–1 in Norway. The result is already being called one of the greatest David-vs-Goliath moments in Champions League history.

Playing in freezing conditions at the Aspmyra Stadium, the Arctic Circle side outplayed Pep Guardiola’s star-studded team from start to finish. Kasper Høgh was the standout performer, scoring twice, while Jens Petter Hauge added a third goal to seal a famous win. City’s forwards, including Erling Haaland, struggled to make an impact.

Despite the defeat, Manchester City remain fourth in the league phase and are still in a strong position to progress. However, the loss has sent shockwaves across Europe and underlined Bodø/Glimt’s remarkable rise on the continental stage.
